Lives at his village and works in series Reliefs with scenes from everyday life, the war and the Occupation. |

Moves to Athens. In the summer, next to the painter T. Kalmouchos, discovers the island of Aegina. |

Works in Aegina during the summers. Reworks the reliefs of 1940-45 in limestone, on a large scale, to produce the Pindos Monument. Also works in pottery and with stones from the sea. |

Exhibits sculptures and reliefs in the hall of the Athens & Piraeus Electricity Company. |

Represents Greece at the Venice Biennale. |

Represents Greece at the United States — Martha Jackson and Park Galleries (1963). Cincinnati Art Museum (1967) –and Canada (Albert White Galleries). Participates in group exhibitions in Germany, Italy and the USA. |

Transfers on to wood figures from the friezes at Olympia. |
