Lives at his village and works in series Reliefs with scenes from everyday life, the war and the Occupation. |

Moves to Athens. In the summer, next to the painter T. Kalmouchos, discovers the island of Aegina. |

Works in Aegina during the summers. Reworks the reliefs of 1940-45 in limestone, on a large scale, to produce the Pindos Monument. Also works in pottery and with stones from the sea. |

Exhibits sculptures and reliefs in the hall of the Athens & Piraeus Electricity Company. |

Represents Greece at the Venice Biennale. |

Represents Greece at the United States Martha Jackson and Park Galleries (1963). Cincinnati Art Museum (1967) and Canada (Albert White Galleries). Participates in group exhibitions in Germany, Italy and the USA. |

Transfers on to wood figures from the friezes at Olympia. |
