Markos Armaos

Markos Armaos was born in the village of Kalloni, in the island of Tinos (Cyclades), in 1945. After primary school at the local Panormos, he studied in the School of Fine Arts in Athens, under Nikos Nikolaou and Thanasis Apartis (1964-69). For period he worked as an assistant of Apartis in his atelier, then he continued his studies in Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, under Couturier (1972-73).

He lives and works in Athens.
